Mr. Recknor is a Partner and Co-Head of U.S. Investment Operations in Ares Real Estate, where he focuses on U.S. diversified real estate equity asset management. He also serves on the Ares Real Estate Global Investment Committee. Prior to joining Ares in 2021, he was a Managing Director, Head of Asset Management and Real Estate Operations at Black Creek Group, where he oversaw all asset management functions including leasing, operations, third party property management and portfolio capital management for all the company's real estate Previously, he was a Vice President at AMB Property Corporation (merged with Prologis), where he was responsible for all aspects of leasing and operations for a Southern California industrial portfolio. In addition, he served in regional real estate leadership positions with RREEF, The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company and Colliers International. Mr. Recknor has actively participated in variety real estate organizations such as the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), where he served as a board member, Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) and the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR). Mr. Recknor holds a B.A. from the University of California Irvine in Political Science.
